Nick is a PhD student working with Prof. Alessandro Vespignani. He is broadly interested in infectious disease modeling and the use of non-traditional data streams for disease forecasting. He has a BA in biology and an MS in biotechnology from the Johns Hopkins University, an MPH in epidemiology from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and a graduate certificate in biohazardous threat agents and emerging infectious diseases from Georgetown University. He is a scientist and program manager at Los Alamos National Laboratory and also worked as a science advisor with the U.S. House of Representatives’ Committee on Homeland Security.
